PERC is pleased to announce the addition of Ken Kreiger, until recently Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture in Saanich, as an Associate with the firm.  His municipal experience also includes positions with Esquimalt, Surrey, Vancouver and Springfield, Oregon.

Ken brings a blend of experience to the company, and has planned, built and operated many services and facilities in support of parks, recreation and culture. Fundamental to the development and sustainability of these amenities were the partnerships achieved with senior government, health authorities, local business, community organizations and volunteers. He also worked extensively on the renovation and expansion of several community centres, and participated in a number of projects with the Saanich School District, involving the community use of schools.

When not on a project with PERC, Ken lives and skis at Sun Peaks, near Kamloops, during the winter, cycles in Victoria in the summer and enjoys his new role of grandfather on a full-time basis.

LANGARA COLLEGE RECREATION LEADERSHIP DIPLOMA PROGRAM

Kerry Van Eaton, a recent graduate from the Langara College Recreation Leadership Diploma Program, was recently presented with the PERC Excellence Scholarship on graduation from Langara. Kerry excelled in the program and during her internship experience, and made a valuable contribution to the Newton Community Centre in Surrey, where her focus was primarily related to the provision of services for seniors.
