Kevin Pike, Senior Associate PDF Print E-mail

Kevin joined PERC in 2009 after 38 years as a Parks and Recreation administrator.  He has worked for both the City of Vancouver and latterly for the District of West Vancouver where he was the Department Director for 19 years.  He held overall responsibility for the expenditure of approximately $50 million of recreation and park infrastructure in West Van and was actively involved in securing “Cultural Capital” status for the community in 2006.  He has broad experience in facility development, playing field projects, park maintenance, cemeteries and leisure service planning.

Kevin has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alberta.  He is a Past President of the BC Recreation and Parks Association, a past Board member of the Canadian Parks and Recreation Association, the current chair of the Douglas College Therapeutic Recreation Program Advisory Committee and member of the Vancouver executive of the Institute for Public Administration of Canada.  He is a recipient of the BCRPA Citation for Outstanding Achievement and the CPRA Award of Merit.
