Kevin is an independent contractor, and has worked with PERC for the past 10 years as a planning and management consultant. His work history includes Department Chair and Faculty member in the Department of Human Kinetics and Recreation at Langara College, Managing Director of the City of Vancouver’s Hasting Institute, and Manager of Support Services with the North Vancouver Recreation Commission.

He has a Master of Science degree in Leisure Science from Oklahoma State University, and has been an active member of the BC Recreation and Parks Association for the past 30 years. He was also Chair of the Millennium Sports Facility Society and Phoenix Gymnastics, leading an initiative that funded, built organizational capacity, and constructed a Keeping Girls in Sport gymnastics facility for Vancouver - a unique coalition of two non-profit organizations and both the public and private sectors.
